Crowbot Version 1.2

I've
been working hard on the bot again. I've added lots of new stuff
and fixed many bugs. I thought it should be released as it is
quite good and I haven't seen it crash once :) Here is a list
of all new fixes and additions below...
fixed:
Bot avoiding fixed.
fixed: Teamplay issues fixed, bots now shoot transformations
that are not in their team.
fixed: Bug where bot kept changing weapon and not firing.
fixed: Bots will swim better.
fixed: Better duck-jumping for bots.
fixed: Crash bug when a bot killed someone with turret.
fixed: Bot turret transformation aiming fixed!
fixed: Bot alien grunt aiming fixed!
fixed: more things to do with the turret transformation!
fixed: Bots don't jerk their gun about a lot now.
fixed: Bot navigation within transformations is better and some
bugs within navigation were sorted.
fixed: Bots should have better ladder climbing.
fixed: Bots should follow waypoints better in tight areas.
added: Bots still chase their enemy if they run out of the pursuers
field of vision.
added: Bots will break breakable objects with crowbar when they
touch them.
added: new waypoints and LEC files for maps c1a4f and c3a2a
and more good maps!
added: Better stuck code to bots in transformations.
added: Bots should have more human like aiming.
added: Bots mostly aim BETWEEN head and body more often.
added: Bots should "laugh" if their enemy also commits
suicide!
added: New coloured waypoints and sounds.
Note:
Some of the download sites may not be updated yet. Use the 3D
downloads or ntl mirror link for the latest version for a few
days :)

I've
come up with a new little project I call "Player Logger".
It's designed to log dodgy things that players do whilst on
a server. I made in mostly for CS because of all the cheats
around but it works with...

haven't tried it with a server with more than 1 person on it

Noticed
a bug... new bug fix version

I
noticed a crash bug (that was easy to fix) also I managed to
reduce CPU Usage because for some reason I told the bot to look
for an enemy twice when they only needed to once. I've also
changed it a bit so that less CPU is used with checking for
monsters to shoot.
I've
made a bug fix version if your version crashes or is laggy.

You do not really need to download it again if you already have

This
is a new version with some new features including better bot
chatting, spamming bots, bug fixes, all around better!!! I'm
working on an anti-cheat program for counter-strike that will
log any suspicious stuff it finds into a text file (and displays
a message on the server console), I'll post it up here sometime
as I need it to be tested as it won't work with bots. However
the things that I can test with it are currently working but
the main stuff I need to get checked is for someone to run a
server with the anticheat DLL and let REAL clients join it.
It will then do its stuff once people have joined.

fixed : a big bug where bots may not be able to find monsters
to kill, leading to bots not shooting them at all.

depending on the bots skill (Reaction time = 0.1 + Botskill
* 0.1 seconds).
added : Bots will try to use secondary glock fire and jump if
a waypoint is too high up.
added : Bots should move back if they are too close to an enemy
depending on the weapon its carrying.
added : some transformation attacks I forgot to add such as
alien grunts "mad" mode etc.
added : bots find it easier to go into a transformation as they
press 'use' more often.
added : bots as ickys, apaches and controllers can now pitch
and move around up/down.
added : bots as assasins, headcrabs or pathers can jump over
small obstacles.
added : Better tripmine avoidance. I've got bots to duck under
or jump over tripmine laser beams (depending if its lower or
higher) It works but not all the time.
added : Bots with good skill will strafe to avoid incoming objects.
added : LEC file editor added. Use lec_menu command to open
the menu.
added : Bots wll not use secondary crowbar fire if they have
kamikazied a lot depending on bots skill.
added : Bots goto the waypoint where they last saw its enemy
(If the enemy ran away) This will only work if there are waypoints
on the map.

haven't got much feedback lately from beta testers (I dunno
if everythings okay but I think it is!) And I don't want to
keep spamming them with new bot DLLs. I've added and fixed a
lot of stuff so far and I might make a new release sooner than
later... :)
