Bot Homepage. Nice of you to visit this page. The Omicron is said to be the King of Bots.
It's all baloney...it's the EMPEROR of bots. And I'm sure (and I (H2SO4..or Squatt as I
have now nick named myself) speak for myself, not for any other person) that the FrogBot
will one day replace the Omicron, but that will be the day when the Emperor is old and
grey...and it's quite a few years till the Omicron's retirement as I see it. But hey,
that's my opinion....and if you disaggree... play the Omicron... enough ranting.
Anyway, to get back on track, The Omicron Bot is named after the
(ex-)Clan, and the Clan is named after the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet.
The Obots, is the
result of a project initially started to educate Omicron's Clan members in the way(s) of
the deathmatch warrior. It has grown all out of proportion and has been released Worldwide
on December 4th, 1997. In the "best quake add-on" contest held at QWF it was
voted on a shared 10th place, together with the reaper. Anyway.. that's pretty darn good
for a bot out for nearly a month, to gain that high a position.
To cut the story... the Omicron Bot (*FINAL*) version
1.02 is out! Below you'll find some download links and some stuff to read for the die-hard
Omicron bot fans.
