What's this all about?
With the release of FrikBot 0.09, a now standard waypoint system was implemented by FrikaC that enables the bot to get around maps more quickly and effectively. The waypoint method yields much better results in navigation than the roaming AI, and because the waypoints aren't hard-coded (they are stored in executable .way files) there is no limit to the amount of maps that can have waypoint files assigned to them, as you just download/create the .way files and they are ready to be used. This site aims to provide every available waypoint file/group to the public.

What's the FrikBot?
The FrikBot is a quakec plugin bot by FrikaC. It's unique approach at emulating clients means it can be easily implemented into mods, and the bots can use new weapons and abide by new rules without any adjustments to the code. It is currently at verion 0.09b, and FrikaC claims this will be the last update we will see. The latest FrikBot version is available from the downloads page.

Where can I download FrikBot incorporated mods?

The official FrikBot site lists most (if not all) of the mods currently available that include the FrikBot in them, along with links to the sites where you can download them.

Where can I download FrikBot waypoint files?
Here! Head on over to the downloads section, which lists every available waypoint file for easy download.

Are you going to make new versions of the FrikBot?
I am not, no. That's because I didn't make the FrikBot in the first place, nor do I own and develop it now. Please don't e-mail me with that question.

Can I make waypoint files for the site?
Sure! I urge you to make waypoints for the site. They can be for any maps that can be used with the FrikBot, which includes maps in mods that incorporate the FrikBot. But first, check to see which ones are already available, and only make a new waypoint file if one already exists if you think you could do it better. You will be fully credited for your waypoint file/group.

What do I need to make waypoint files for the FrikBot?
There are currently two waypoint editors available: FrikBot Waypoint Studio by FrikaC, and FrikBot Waypoint Editor by Raymond Martineau. Both are available from the
downloads page. I advise you to download both and see which one you prefer.

Would you mind if I made my own FrikBot waypoint site?
Well, yes. I don't really think there is any point in having more than one FrikBot waypoint site.

Who is responsible for this site?
At this point in time, I, Quest, run and maintain this site. formaly, Akuma (who designed the site) ran and maintained it. He has now past it on to me to keep running.
If you have any questions about the site, drop me a line. BUT, please do not e-mail any questions regarding the FrikBot, or any of the FrikBot mods. For that, please e-mail the author.
