What is IRC, and with what do you eat it?

IRC is the place where you can chat with other people online. That's it! No more explanations. Now why do you need IRC? Because now FMODS (Or Frogbot) has the IRC channel in EFnet servers. To find out what is channel and EFnet, go on reading.

How do I use IRC?

To use IRC, you need on of the few programs, called IRC clients. WEll I don't know how about other IRC users, but I prefer using mIRC. You can get the program files here.

When you install mIRC (It is a really easy procedure, I won't bother explaining it), run the mIRC32.exe. The first thing you need to do is setup your preferences. Fill in all fields (nickname, e-mail, etc.). Then in the servers list, find any server which starts with EFnet (EFnet is one of IRC networks). All you have to do then is press the button 'Connect to IRC server'.

When mIRC connects to the server, the channel window will pop up. Type in frogbot. Now, if you're connecting the first time, you have to press add button and then join button. You have t oadd channel only once so any other time you want to connect, type in frogbot and just press join.

I guess you're all set.

But if you have any questions, check the official mIRC site.
