If you want to send me a demo, plz get this program, then run
'demtool -v -f15 <demoname>' then zip using maximum
compression adn ONLY then send it me. This way demo size
will be 3 times smaller. Thank you!
And one more thing. Please turn 'rules' on
while recording a demo. Just to give more info to me. And
don't try to cheat. I don like it. This is specialy for
Nace.

News
Ok guys, I'm really really sorry for
delays, but hey, thats the life. No new demos at this
time (but I *DO* have bunch of them), because I was
banned from my main Internet source (school), and I dont
have a chance to send any demos to Wrecker, coz bills for
telephone are too high for me. If someone has too much
money, yer are welcome to help me;) Anyhow, I'll try to
find some spare time to send Wrecker new demos. Btw,
contest demos are still accepted.

This week was very hard and full of work,
so I hadnt much time to work on demos page, but its nice
to see that more and more of you are getting interested
in contest. I received already 5 demos, and I think I am
gonna soon officialy start the contest. When we will
discuss all details with Wrecker, I'll post all contest
demos here. I think contest will continue until we get
10-15 demos. And, btw, there are few new non-contest
demos in this page. Check 'em out, they are pretty good.

Announcing demo contest!
Well, the rules are pretty simple. You
pick up a skill which you think fits best for you, and
record a demo (5 or 10 minutes) against it in one of
these maps: dm6, dm4, ztndm3 or rapture1. But, before
recording, you should keep in mind these things(those are
actually contest rules):
Deathmatch Mode 3 (necessary)
Hide Rules *DISABLED*
Powerups on or off (on decreases raiting)
LookCheat *ON* for master ones (increases rating)
Skill 100 - 200
FrogBot v0.12c *ORIGINAL*
All demos *MUST* be compressed with demtool as said in top
of page. Anyone who wont do this will be disqualificied
(brr, i can't spell this word:)). You can send demos to
my email *ONLY* if they are <300Kb. Otherwise, please
send me email notifing me about demo, and I will tell you
where to put it (or you can put it somewhere, and give me
URL, but if so, plz put it on fast line). So, that seem
to be all. The contest will start when I'll get 3-4
demos. You always be able to find the latest news here.

This
demo shows FrogBots' RL handling bug - some times
he shoots to wall, even if you are far away from
him. Its not a big deal, and it is not very
clearly visible, but, I thought it will be
interesting.

unlogical moves in bot's movement, it is really

In this demo (recorded by
Wrecker) we can see one FB bug associated with
watermovement. I dont know if it only applies to
e1m2, but no matter how deep is FB, it is not
visible until it gets out of water. I mean if
only FB's legs are under water it is not visible
from above the water. This is not serious, but
its a bug.

| This intended to be
a contest demo, but it cant, because its not a
original FrogBot. Ok, now about the demo. Demo
from PQ-Satyr. Really nothing special. The score
(29:-2) is far from medium for 10 minute match,
just 3 selfkills from bots side are little bit
more interesting. Shafting goes step to step with
RLing, momevement good, no AW. Really medium
demo. |

| This demo is from Davo. There are
few things that I like, and also few things I
dont about this demo.. What I like is good RL
aiming, pretty good RL/RA/LG running, and, very
good and smooth walking. But, there are dark bits
in this demo.. one of them is shafting.. its far
from RL aiming, but I think Davo will correct
this:) And what I would really really like to see
is contest between QMax, RN and Davo's Clan. |

very good with RL, but Raven's shafting is really really
better then Flamer's or Ex1's. The result is very
very good for 5 minutes match, and tactics seem
to be not less interesting (ugh, whats with my

simply crushed. When 9.5 you ask? Because it was
played in DMM1. And there is one moment where bot

demo, this time by Yuma from Italia. One thing is for
sure - Yuma knows how and when change weapon. I
saw only one or two episodes where he should use
other weapon, but thats in 10mins! Well, if other
clan members are at least as good as Yuma then
QMAX is definetly good clan. |

ground shooting. Its pretty good. Score isnt so
