The final release of Fist Fight in it's current form (deathmatch) has been released as promised. It can be downloaded here. Here is the small but interesting feature list:- 5 new arenas
- Cleaned up the Fists model (some black bits were on the skin.)
- Updated to FrikBot 0.09
- Lowered fist strength.
This should keep you guys happy for a while, whilst I work on the single player maps for a future release. I totally rewrote the Fist Fight source last night in preparation for the new release and it is rather clean and tidy which makes it a lot easier for me to work with. This release includes the new maps by BriGer and Spectere, which are a lot of fun. Well, i'll keep you posted.

After a long while of pondering the idea, i've decided to turn Fist Fight into a single player experience, with bots included for deathmatch. Here is the current story:
I am cold, scared, angry. They tormented me for days before I was thrown into this cell. I feel ill.
Maniacal sounds can be heard during the night, I must escape.
They found me on the street, stole me from society, and brought me to this godforsaken place.
I have heard them talking of a leader called Quake.
I must escape...
I am currently planning an episode of around 5 levels, in which you must escape from your cell and the dungeon itself and finally destroy Quake. Production of 5 quality single player levels will obviously take a considerable amount of time, I have begun work on the first level, The Cage and will finish it off once my current map is finished (Quake Single Player), in a few weeks or so. But if anyone out there is interested in helping out with some maps then it would be much appreciated if you could contact me at ze0@botepidemic.com. I do plan to release a small bug-fix release soon, which will contain some cool user made maps by BriGer and Spectere. That is all.

Look at that then, a little bit of a re-design eh? Yes, I threw a little paint here and there and this is the result. Send me your comments. As for progress on Fist Fight, not much has been made. But that should all change soon as I should have a bit more time on my hands. I'll keep you informed, I think.
