Creating
a CB plug-in is quite easy once you get the hang of it .. putting
a plug-in together is similar to creating a standard pk3 file, with
just a few simple additions to your current bot files you can have
your bot working in the CHAOS ENGINE in no time ..
remember anybody can create a CB Plug-in ..

Ok
now that you have the gear to start making some new bots lets move
on to the next step ..

Step 1 - Adding Your Bot Or Map ]=
Ok
Creating a CB BOT Plug-in is real simple, its kind of like making
a normal .pk3 file for your bot as you normally would although with
the CB Plug-ins its a case of adding your files to a pre made .pk3
file and saving it .. simple as that .. lets look at it in more
detail ..
First
of all download the 'Base
Plug-in.pk3' this will be used as a basic work pk3 file that
you will add your bot content to ..
Open the Pak file, you will noticed some file & folders inside,
whatever you do, do NOT delete any
of them .. they will not interfere at all with your new plug-in
and they are required if you want your new bot to use the CHAOS
ENGINE .. else you will receive error messages by the truck load
.. :) so leave them there .. apart from that add whatever you need
to the pak file, save it up rename it and drop it into your C:\Quake3\ClockBot
DIR simple aye :) start Quake3 with the ClockBot mod enabled and
you should see your new bot within the Add bot list..
If you find you can not see your bot you will probably need to re
edit your pak file and make sure you have added or edited your bot
".bot" file within the pk3 file under the "\scripts"
dir .. I have added the clockbot.bot file as an example..
The rest is a piece of cake .. I'll leave it up to you to work out
.. :)
SAME APPLIES WITH ADDING NEW MAPS ..
