Quake III: Arena Bots
Quake III: Arena is available in stores now.
Bots are included as an integral part of the game, and they feature all the game modes supported by the game. Written by John Cash and later
Jan "MrElusive" Paul the bots have recieved a mainly positive reception although in certain areas they are not as good as some were expecting.
After the release of Quake 3, several bots have began to appear, either improving upon the standard AI through a mod, or an entirely
new bot itself with new AI.

Author(s): Clockwork
Version: 0.3a
The Clockbot was amongst the first of the several bot releases for Quake 3. So far the bot surpasses the standard Quake 3
bots AI, although currently the only game type supported is deathmatch. There are plans for Team Deathmatch and Capture the
Flag in later versions though.
Domination Bots

Author(s): Anthony
Version: 1.2
Domination is a new game mode where there are certain areas on the map that players must compete over. As your team holds
the control sector, your points are increased until one team wins. The bots play fairly well.
Oni Bot

Author(s): Anthony Yuen
Version: 0.20
Created by the author of the popular Tangential mod for Quake 2, Anthony has set on creating a new bot from scratch
more intelligent that those included with Quake 3. The bot is still in it's early design but the planned features sound
very promising.
