V1.3 Win32 and linux release1/18/02 by Zneaker After testing quite a lot of features (just the win32 version), I came to the conclusion that V1.3 needs to be released right now JThere’s now a linux version available for download (hope it works,since I wasn’t able to test it-if you have problems,email me). Here is the features list of V1.3:
-linux version available -FA skill system is now fully supported (medics etc.) -added turnspeed -added some reaction time factors -new "search for enemy code" -better combat movement + memory system -tactical combat movements improved -new player unstuck code -fixed FA respawn bug -improved navigation (especially regarding *.bwa files) -fixed some performance issues -3 new options available in the bocconfig.exe -fixed wallhugging-bug -proning and walking backwards while not being engaged in battle -simple support of the use of turrets -new skill-statistic code (usefull for later releases) -added the option to add "Quick Config" bots for FA -some more teamwork issues have been solved -new chat file-now combat chat only -fixed some problems using the bridge in aztec -you can now force bots to walk to a valley by using range 0 wpts -new aim code to avoid bots that aim for about half a minute -lot's of bugfixes (the *.dll's size increased by about 100 KB) etc.
Btw: Since the size of the dll has grown by about 100 KB I didn’t include any waypoints in the download of this version-so you might want to check out the waypointsection too.

Linux porting and the FA skill system are finally done.I also added some new features,that work,but still need some testing: -bocconfig.exe: new option to adjust turning speed -combat turn-headshot fix Looks like V1.3 can be released during the next few days. V1.3 official Testversion1/12/02 by Zneaker Here’s the official Testversion of V1.3. It’s a*.zip file that includes the *.dll,a new version of the bocconfig.exe ,the boc.cfg file,a new chat.cfg and a readme file,where all the new features are listed. So if you have any ideas ,bug reports etc. just email me. I made another big step forward regarding the linux porting – I’m optimistic,that I’m gonna get it to work soon. Though I didn’t get the FA skill system to work properly,yet and the linux support is still not cmpiling the way I want it, I decided to release an official testverion of V1.3 tomorrow…maybe you find some more features you want to have implemented in V1.3…This testversion should be pretty bugfree and it will contain lots of features compared to V1.2,but still-it’ll just be a testversion (just a ‘.dll and the bocconfig.exe),since linux support and the FA skill support are still missing.

V1.3 and holidays12/22/01 by Zneaker Since all the x-mas work is done and the holidays are about to start, I finally have time to code again J V1.3 got some new bocconfig settings now, and I’m about to get the linux stuff done. After trying to implement the fa-skill system in several different ways,I finally got the medic and artillery behaviors to work (there’s still some work to do,but it somehow woks now).The linux stuff hasn’t been done yet too. As I said before I’m just starting to program under linux and it might take me some time to get that stuff done. I think V1.3 will be done sometimes next week or during christmas holidays.

Still some stuff left to do for V1.3: -linux support (it could take me a while to figure this out) -full support of the fa skill system (including skill bahaviors (medic..)) -more tactical grenade usage
And that’s what’s been done the last days:
-fixed some setup incompatibilities -fixed proning speed for FA,DOD and FLF -bots now prone if appropriate (better accuracy in battle) -decreased the bots aiming accuracy a bit -new combat-aiming (no more “turn-180-and-give-headshot” style fighting with skill 10 bots) The weekend is about to begin,so I guess I’ll be able to get lots of stuff done.We’ll see how fast I can get the linux stuff done-the rest should be easy to code.
